-The faint chime of a bell can be heard every so often when Yeon moves, the sound is oddly calming, and reassuring in a way, if one is in need of help they would be drawn towards it.-Strange blue and gold aether seems to follow Yeon when he walks, the trail is hard to miss , and if one is keen enough they might be able to sense the odd power in it.-Orange, crystal horns and a lion like tail are usually the first things one notices about the haetae, a sign of what he is, and what he represents.-Yeon is a haetae, while not many know of their existence, perhaps you've heard a story about one of them before?-need help? he's always willing to step in.

Personality

Quiet and fairly reserved Yeon isn't good at approaching or interacting with others.
Due to spending most of his life as a solitary creature outside of his work, which usually requires him to put his own thoughts and feelings aside, he is unsure on how to interact with others, though he is trying to get better at this.
He is very dense and will often not understand what someone wants unless they are straightforward with it.
Yeon is a workaholic and spends most of his time and energies focusing on his duties, often not even thinking on his own health and needs, though if you manage to get him to find a comfortable place to curl up in, he will more than likely start dozing off.
Due to his line of work and overall nature Yeon is highly protective, of those he cares about and anyone that needs help, if there is a problem he never hesitates to step in.

Background

A creature from a far land, Yeon was raised for the sole responsibility as acting as a guardian and judge against disasters.
Haetae's are guardians, born to protect against fire, disasters, demons and evil. They also act as judges, with their strong ability to distinguish between good and evil.

Yeon spent most of his life in solitude, only interacting with other's when his work required him to, and even then he avoided interacting as much as he could.
Throughout his life, and due to his work, he has seen and witnessed the worst in people, which has now made him fairly guarded against others, making it hard for him to genuinely trust anyone, though he still tries to act kind even if his words come across harsh at times.
Because his duties required him to keep his own thoughts and feelings in check, he doesn't know how to express himself properly when around others, instead opting to spend his time observing those around him then trying to approach anyone.
